Children's Ministry

Elementary-age children are in a constant state of discovery. At Parkway Heights, we want to encourage discovery and invite kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.


On Sunday mornings, this happens through a large group time of fun learning and worship combined with a small group time for deeper discussion and practical applications for each lesson. 


Our children also enjoy special activities such as Vacation Bible School in the summer, Children's Choir performances and fun outings. 


Children leaders have been background checked and have been approved to work with children.

Nursery

Parkway Heights offers nursery care for infants through five-year-olds on Sunday mornings and during special services and events. All nursery staff and nursery volunteers undergo background checks and are approved to work with children. Children must be checked in at the Nursery Check-in desk located at the entrance to Early Encounters.

Preschool

Sunday School classes are available for ages 3 and 4 on Sunday mornings at 9:40 a.m. Our preschool classes use engaging activities to introduce preschool children to God. Sunday School gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for them. All teachers have had background checks and have been approved to work with children.

Pre-Teen Ministry

The Loft is a special ministry just for 5th and 6th graders. This group meets every Sunday morning for Sunday School and for other special events. All leaders have been background checked and approved to work with children.


The Loft also takes a mission trip every other year. This trip is always a great introduction to missions. The group has traveled around the country to work on various projects ranging from simple yard work to working with the elderly in retirement homes.
